Nicola Farmer is the Founder and Creator of ICU Academy, an internationally recognised educational programme dedicated to helping children discover greater confidence, emotional resilience, expanded awareness and the extraordinary potential that already exists within them.
For many years, Nicola has devoted her life to exploring consciousness, human potential and the remarkable abilities of children. Her pioneering work has inspired families, educators and practitioners in more than 40 countries across five continents and has been featured in documentaries, podcasts, radio interviews and films, including appearances on Netflix, Gaia TV and other international media platforms.
At the heart of Nicola’s work is a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves the opportunity to understand who they truly are, believe in themselves and grow into the very best version of themselves.
A Vision for the Next Generation
ICU Academy was created from Nicola’s heartfelt vision of supporting children during some of the most important years of their lives. Rather than focusing solely on academic achievement, the ICU Programme encourages children to develop confidence, self-awareness, resilience, curiosity and a deeper understanding of their own unique abilities. While many people first discover ICU Academy because of the children’s remarkable blindfold experiences, Nicola believes these are only one part of a much greater journey.

A Heart-Led Approach
Nicola believes every child learns differently and that true education nurtures the whole child, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Her teaching combines contemporary understanding with years of practical experience, thoughtful observation and a genuine commitment to helping children flourish. She has trained ICU Academy Teachers around the world, sharing a heart-led approach that encourages compassion, integrity, curiosity and respect alongside professional excellence.
Although ICU Academy continues to grow internationally, Nicola remains personally committed to maintaining the quality, integrity and vision upon which the Academy was founded.
